4 month stats

I'm 4 months old today
Henry has his 4 month doctor's appointment tomorrow with Dr. Sakkal. Looking forward to seeing how tall he is, how much he weighs, and how big his brain is (ok, I mean head size)! Will he get to start eating cereal?? Phil assembled Henry's new high chair today as we may need to use it this week. I'll keep you posted......
Henry sure thought his Grandpa Krump was just hilarious this morning!
Lots of snuggling and giggling with him!
Here Henry is with his Aunt Kathryn and soon-to-be Uncle Matthias, or Tante Kathryn and Onkel Matthias in German. Yes, Matthias and Kathryn are engaged!
We're all sooooooo excited for them!

New trick!
Since we've had all this talk about Henry rolling over, we thought we'd finally show some proof with a video post...enjoy!
Wild child!
Henry is absolutely loving this whole rolling over business! Here's what I saw when he woke up from a nap today.......
He somehow managed to get out of his swaddle, roll over to his tummy, and scoot all the way to one end of his crib. He stuck his legs through the crib rails but didn't seem to mind that too much, not yet anyway.
He looks a bit surprised to see me! Busted!

My new tricks!
Henry is now rolling over in all directions! He's been going from his tummy to his back for quite a few weeks now, and just last week he started going from his back to his tummy! He works soooo hard to get there! I finally caught it all on camera. Here's the play-by-play from Henry........
Man, that toy looks pretty fun over there....but do I really want to let go of my toes in order to play with it?
I suppose, these toes will be here when I get back, I think I'll go for it. But first I better put my hand in my mouth, it seems to help me concentrate better.
Woah, how did I end up over here? Where did that bumble bee go? Help, I think I squashed bumble bee!
(This is the step he has to work EXTRA hard at, getting that arm out from underneath him)
Man, this stuff is exhausting! Can't you see it in my face?
I did it, I did it! Wow, what's all this clapping? Is it all for little old me? (He definitely loves all the applause)
Well done Henry Thomas! Such a big strong boy!

My relatives rule!
Fun times with my cousin! Greta was smiling at Henry and opening her mouth like she wanted to kiss him, what a sweet little girl. Henry put his arm around Greta when she was crying, what a kind little boy. Are they going to be best buds or what? How lucky is Henry to have 2 cousins that are the same age as he is, Riley (in Denver, CO) and Greta (in Perham, MN).
Henry with his great-aunt, Tillie, from Colorado. Tillie is Phil's godmother. Tillie remembered when her mom would put her little boy, Nolan (I guess if you think 29 years old and being 6'4" tall is still little, then he's little - if not, I guess he'd be considered a big boy) in this position and he loved it. Henry was a big fan as well!

Pumpkin Pics
Cousin Greta is visiting this weekend, yessss!
We attempted to get Halloween pictures of the pumpkin and the penguin......
....and as you can see, neither the pumpkin nor the penguin were up for photos at the moment. I'm sure we'll get lots more good pics this weekend as Greta is always such a smiley little thing!
"Trick-or-treat! Hey, why's my candy bag still empty?"
This one is my favorite....with an expression like that, what's going on in that adorable little pumpkin head of his?

Krump =Twins fan
Now that the Twins made it to post-season play, Henry is pumped (ok, maybe his mom is a little more pumped)! The Krump men (minus Henry - he went to a baby shower with Mom) all went to see the Twins play their last regular season game at Target Field this past Sunday. It was Great Grandpa Krump's first visit to the new field.

Brrrrrr!
What a cute little bear! I've had to bundle Henry up in a bear suit these past couple mornings to take him to his Oma's house as the mornings have sure been getting colder here. As you can see, he's all smiles.
A huge thanks to Phil's cousin, Erika, who sent Henry so many outfits (including the bear suit) that Max and Teddy have grown out of. Thanks Summers family!
