Go Rockies!

Henry's first baseball game.

Yes, for as big of a Twins fan as I am, I can't believe Henry made it to a Rockies game before he made it to a Twins game. We definitely have to get to one at home before the season is done, especially because Henry has so many cute Twins outfits!

"Mom, seriously, can you please tell her to stop poking me in the face? Does it look like I'm enjoying this?"
Soooo many people asked, "are they twins?" at the game.

Chillin' with my cousin

Riley seemed to think Henry was just the perfect height to pull herself up to stand.
Here poor Henry is in the Bumbo with his lamb while Riley is ripping his clothes off in order to stand up!

Henry takes it like a champ!
He has 2 girl cousins that may just boss him around when they all get older!

Rest break to taste test the Bumbo. Does Henry's expression ever change? Very serious.

And this is when we had to break it up.
It's all fun and games until somebody gets a hand to the face!

How cute are they in their pj's?

Once again......a hand in the face meant the party had to stop!

Beach babes

Is she for real? Can that cousin Riley get any cuter? Yes, Riley is only 5 1/2 months old......sits up on her own, crawls all over the house now, and pulls herself to stand up on her own too. She's crazy strong!!

Yes, Henry is bigger than she is too! She is such a peanut and Henry's packing on the lb's.
Of course Riley loved the water.......

....Henry wasn't the biggest fan of it! "Too cold, Mom, too cold!"

Henry's first hike

Steph, Chris, and Riley are avid hikers. I didn't know how I'd do, being extremely out of shape and all, 10,000 feet up there, and carrying 13-pound Henry on me. It was a busy (and quite rocky) trail with lots of hikers. Henry wasn't the happiest baby on the block (aka crying) the first half of the hike, but then I turned him around so he could face outward and he was a much happier camper after that! "I just wanted to take in all the sights, Mom, duh!"

Sonja flew with Henry and I to Denver as well. Thanks for all the help, Auntie!

Yes, that's snow in the background. It was 95* in Denver and 60* when we got up there!

Sonja, Sarah, and Stephanie

The Darcy family, Sonja, Sarah & Henry, Molly & Andy. We loved getting to see Molly & Andy too, now that they live in Denver!

Tap the Rockies

This past weekend was another one of "first's" for Henry during his visit to Denver! He was such a busy boy with many new adventures.......first flight, first hike, first swim, and the best part of all, first time meeting his cousin Riley.

Just chillin' at the airport, waiting for my flight.

Such a big boy holding his boarding pass.

2 Months Old!

Henry had his 2-month check-up yesterday at the doctor's office.
He's tipping the scales at 12lbs & 8 oz, measuring 23 1/2 inches long, and a big brain size of 39 1/2 inches (ok, head size). He's in the 75th percentile for both height and weight, such a big boy!
Wow, these 2 months have flown by. What an absolute joy they've been!

Pearl Jam

For those of you that don't know, Phil and his college buddies are pretty big fans of Pearl Jam. Who wouldn't love Pearl Jam, right? Here are the proud dads with their Pearl Jam babies, one of Henry's girlfriend's, Amerie and her dad Nick Zewers.

Our baby boy sure is a good sleeper, especially when I want to get some pictures.
What can I do?!

Another girlfriend....

Henry is quite the ladies man! He met another girlfriend, Finley Morgan, last night. Finley and her parents, Kristin and Pat, came over for dinner. Look at those big beautiful blue eyes of hers. She's a pretty little thing! Finley is a few months older than Henry, she was rolling all over and "babababa"ing a lot. Henry was being Henry, lots of leg cycling on the floor. Can't wait to do it again!

Roots in NoDak

Henry and I made our way back to North Dakota last week for a few days to meet lots of relatives! Of course they all thought he was extremely handsome!

Great Grandma Yantzer. She's 88 years young.
I don't know which one has the bigger grin on their face?!

Phil's cousin, Josh. He and his wife, Tara, are expecting their first baby in January.
Lots of cousins!

Grandma Olin. Henry is getting a lot better with his tummy time. He rolled over 3 times from his tummy to his back today (8.15.10) with dad.

Second cousin, Anthony. Hopefully he'll teach Henry all about soccer when he's old enough.

Four generations.....Sarah, Grandma Bertha, Henry, and Judy.

Such a serious face, such a serious boy! Great aunt, Jo.

Great aunt, Jackie.

This was how he felt after all that excitement. Milk drunk and exhausted! He was a great little traveler for our journey.

Lots of smiles!

Oma Mary said it's true.......

First date

Henry had his first date yesterday! We met up with Koryn and beautiful Amerie Zewers for a walk around Lake Calhoun. Amerie is just a couple days older than Henry. Don't they look so enthused to be on their first date together?! Ok, so maybe they both slept through most of it. It sure was fun to get together with Koryn and swap all of our "new mom" stories. Next date: a picnic in the park.

Poor Lucy

I think poor Lucy is feeling a little left out since Henry arrived. Today, I picked up Henry from the boppy and brought him upstairs for a nap. As soon as I came back down to pick up the boppy, Lucy was cuddled up right where Henry was laying.

Big boy in his big crib

Henry spent his first night in his crib in his own room last night! We've had him in the pack-n-play in our room since he was born, but now that he's a big 6-week-old boy, I suppose it was time (sniffle, sniffle). He slept just like any other night, so that was good. A 5-hour stretch between eating is still his max at night, not surprising though as I keep packing away the clothes that he's outgrowing! They look so tiny in the big cribs, don't they?

Krump's all around

Many of the Krump's got together for a 50th wedding anniversary party a couple weekends ago. Lots of fun seeing everybody again!
On Friday, July 23rd, we were hanging out over at Mark and Mary's place after dinner. Henry had just eaten and was a bit "milk drunk" as his Opa likes to say. He was laying on his tummy and started to roll over to his right side. Slowly but surely, he rolled right over to his back. Old papa (Grandpa Phil) said it wasn't really fair because he was laying on a "football with that full belly." Way to go Henry!

What handsome Krump men?! Four generations of Krump's......
Mark, Henry, Grandpa Phil, and Philip.

I think this might be our first family photo!

Chillin' with my cousin

This past weekend, the Krump Krew headed to Perham for Henry's cousin, Greta's baptism. Thanks for the great hospitality Sarah and Bryan, we had a great time! Greta was as quiet as a mouse for her baptism, looking so beautiful in her mom's baptismal gown!

They're holding hands (well...sort of). Greta is such a smiley baby and Henry is "so serious" all the time. Henry has been lassoing with his right arm quite a bit lately, we may just have a future cowboy on our hands, who knows?!

Babies are too funny! Don't they look so comfortable?

Tummy Time

Our little boy looks so grown up here I think! Normally he's not the biggest fan of being on his tummy, but he was so happy here, I had to catch some pictures! Too cute!
